Guest guest
Don't marvel too much Sara b/c this hasn't been easy and I'm taking a reduced work schedule soon to try to cope with it better. I also didn't take a new job that might have been less stressful, but I couldn't be sure and didn't want to risk new job stress. I was often dizzy on lower doses of HC and I believe that Val has said that it is common until you get nearer to your optimal dose. You're on a good bit and you have been on Delta so I don't know. I have not been on it, although I have thought about it a lot. Supposedly it doesn't have all of the highs and lows of HC, but it can be difficult to dose because of the time delay in how it works. The fact that you were sleeping through the night and that you're not with HC might be meaningful - it would be to me and being able to sleep better would be the most compelling reason for me to start on it. Combining it with HC seems to be the way to go. I think that I'm getting the hang of managing my HC during the day, more or less, but I still don't know what my dose needs to be. I seem to be ending up around 40mg lately and maybe that's where I need to be until I can absorb it better and get the Armour up. The most frustrating thing about it is trying to get past the setbacks and waiting for things to stabilize so that I can increase the Armour which is the whole point of the treatment. I'm only on 1 5/8 grain which is probably 1/3 of what I need, but I can't get temps and adrenal symptoms stable long enough to go up again. My IBS problems are mostly food related and I have made drastic changes in my diet to manage it since it's not just the symptoms, but it affects HC absorption. I think that you might find that you will need to address diet too if you haven't already. Even though I'm sleeping better now that I use cream before bed, I don't look well rested - ever. I don't know if this is b/c I'm just not getting enough rest, what I get isn't restful, or the state of my adrenals. I hope that we both find a good balance soon so that this becomes easier. > > Hi > > Thanks very much .
