Guest guest
I'm with you ...I don't care who knows about the surgery and if they have any questions I will anwser them and tell them all about it. As for this being the easy way out all I have to say is some people dont have a clue. We changed our bodies but we still have to deal with the head hunger.. Guest guest
It's a big deal to family because they have watched you be miserable all this time. They look forward to watching us find happiness. My family told everyone. They were excited for me. Mike Tune wrote: My mom did the same thing, when I asked her why she said " its not a big deal " ....... I guess to her it wasnt. Guest guest
, I work in an environment (Marine Corps civilian employee) where people think you just have to have the discipline to exercise and eat right. Many of them would have the perception that I took the easy way out because I am young (30), had no health issues other than a sore back, and I still had the ability to walk. Even though it shouldn't, their perceptions could affect my progression within the organization. Many people think if you are fat then you are lazy and not a good worker, which all of us here know that is not true. However, since I knew what the perceptions were ahead of time, I chose to be discrete with the people I work with. I am proud of myself and I have no problem sharing with my family, friends, and church. And, not one of them has had a negative comment. They are all supportive. in Virginia 299/248/150 surgery day: 5/3/06 Re: People's reactions Hi, Personally I'm proud to tell them I had the surgery. I think it is the most amazing gift and love to share. Yes, now and then I get some not so good reactions (I HATE when people say I took the easy way out) but all in all most are very intriuged and want to know more. As for those who don't believe in it etc., I remind myself they are entitled to their opinion and WE know it was anything but easy!!! Guest guest
Does your boss not know it's illegal for him/her to discuss his employees like that? They can't disclose that info to anyone! 380/340/160 Laurie wrote: > Mike > > I agree!!! As a matter of fact I work at a daycare and my boss told > one of the parents I was having this done.
