Perhaps it is hydrogenated so that it will keep longer?

If there's Trader Joe's in your area, you can get nonhomogenized but

pasteurized milk. It's probably cheaper than the one in Wild Oaks... if that

is important for you. It's organic. Made by Straus

(http://www.strausmilk.com/) but sold under Trader Joe's brand. Bottles with

red caps are whole milk.

Alas no. There's one in Ohio...looks like a Columbus suburb...and I'm

http://www.hartzlerfamilydairy.com/product.html is what I got. Can't

remember the price exactly (I've been trying not to pennypinch about

food) but was about 50% more than supermarket milk, and cheaper than

Horizon etc.
