Guest guest
, I haven't had wls surgery yet, but I have had other surgies, and the memory fade is probably due to the versed they gave you. It is an amnesiac = which makes you forget, It passes soon. When I had ny appendicitis I thought I was developing alzhemiers. My dad went through this after his triple by=pass. It will pass. Just smile and wave..no one will notice. Debi --- Woodard wrote: > OK...I'm really losing it. I could have sworn I > posted this question a > few days ago; but never saw it come thru. Guest guest
LOL! It's really got bad since surgery. I'm hoping that goes away. It's gonna kill me when I go back to work! If I think about something I need to do I have to go do it now. If I say to myself I'll do it in a minute...in a minute I've forgot! I was never this bad before. 380/340/160 wrote: > , that is called CRS.........I suffer from it myself and if the > surgery makes you have CRS, I'm in BIG trouble, I already have it, > could it get any worse? Guest guest
Well then I guess I have to go back to my first try. Do 10 carbs (bread or something not just in veg or fruit) I have to do this every so many months and it seems to help. Just for a couple days don't want to blow the honeymoon. Guest guest
I would keep a little note pad with you. I had to do this and still do sometimes. I have alway had problems with short term memory, however, I think that was do to an over stressed life style. I don't seem to have to problem quite as much now. I would write everthing down though. Even if it's going to be done in minute. Woodard wrote: LOL! It's really got bad since surgery. I'm hoping that goes away. It's gonna kill me when I go back to work! Guest guest
hahaha thats kinda funny because, now that I am helping moderate and approving posts, I can't remember if I responded to it or not and I am always deleting my posts out of my inbox without reading them. I was worried I would have responded twice and look stupid hahahahhaahhaha. I started doubting my memory this week. Shauna Woodard wrote: OK...I'm really losing it. Guest guest
I quit soda over a month and a half ago & had no problems....headaches or anything. I'm not a big caffeine person! I drink maybe 8-16 oz of crystal light. It's too sweet for me so I just stick to water. So, not sure what the problem is. Just hope it gets better. When I email my nutritionist my food journal this week I'm going to ask her about it. See if it's a common problem or if there's something I can do to help it. 380/342/160 wrote: > Hi , > > With the surgery, have you recently quit caffeine or switched > sweeteners in your drinks? > > I went on the Atkins Diet a couple of years ago and went cold > turkey from my regular sodas and tea.
