I certainly believe that to be true in my case. I know I can tolerate

everything better since being on cortisol.

My understanding is that hypoglycemia is CAUSED by low cortisol

and/or low thyroid. If you are hypoglycemic, you MUST carry food

with you at all times, fats like nuts being the best, and carbs like

toast or bananas the worst. Once I was able to increase my thyroid

meds, my hypoglycemia went away. Eating a high fat, low-carb diet

also worked wonders.

So to answer 's question, blood sugar problems and inability to

tolerate thyroid are related because they are both caused by low

cortisol.

And the reason you can eat like a horse when hypoglycemic and not

gain weight is because you're not storing any of the calories you're

ingesting (your body needs cortisol to do that). In fact, some labs

might show you to be malnourished!

Hello Barb, I really have no understanding of hypoglycemia, but am wondering,

since i have so much shakiness or anxiety all day if it could be a problem. My

blood test October 20 showed GLUCOSE 93 range 65-99.

Thank you for help

Shaking, anxiety, and hypoglycemia are all signs of low cortisol.

Are you taking enough HC?
