Guest guest
Jim, Ive always felt cold and then when i started to take temps i realised why...i WAS cold. Yesterday when i measured when feeling hot,i WAS hot. So i guess for me its what i feel I am...if you know what i mean. though i have to say that the past 3 weeks are the warmest ive ever felt, and yet as you say there have been times like you described, but only twice(ben keeping records as being warm is a novil thing for me) Im just not used to all this heat !!! Isnt t3 the hormone that gets temps up in 'wilsons' treatment ? Ive been fairly stable during these 3 weeks, but its only early days. This morning 37.1 which is the warmest morning of my life,im worst in the morning for cold temps. Will see what happens. .

Guest guest
Hey Nil, " I am now telling this to my friends who think I have psychological problem. " Man that just cracks me up ! Anything people dont understand... must be that YOU have a mental problem. Ive really gotten over worrying about what people think as,if you havnt gone through it,you dont know what your talking about..now i just laugh at their ignorance. Even if you dont understand, why presume its a mental problem..to even say this to you is beyond belief. It sounds like the old days when they put you in a sanitorium !! . Although mental would have to be expanded to include 'brain' as well as 'mind', and people have to be reminded that the pituitary is (sort of) part of the brain, and the hypothalamus definitely is.. , it could be worse (and for me as well) - you could be told you have a " woman's problem " .. I love the quote by a man from Shoman's book that goes something like this: " I'm not asking for a mammogram, I'm asking for a thyroid test. The last time I checked, the thyroid was a little bit of tissue that both men AND women had.. " Jim
Guest guest
Jim So,you are thinking main problem is at hypothalamus and/or pituitary? That is what I am thinking for my case of CFS. Do you think this applies to all adrenal fatigue cases? but even if the root cause is in the brain that does not mean that our symptoms are made up by us to get some attention or just because we are depressed. many people, when they say `psychological` mean hypochondria or depression. they don't have much info on hpa axis abnormalities. thanks.
