No, that is what raw is; not cooked. Cooking destroys the enzymes that make raw

milk so valuable. The dairly industry hates it because it destroys their

business, but raw milk, both cow and goat are gaining rapidly in usage all over

the country (USA). Raw milk is best because not only are the enzymes that are

needed for digestion intact, the lactic acid isn't altered either so doesn't

have the same effect that the lactic acid in pasturized, homogenized milk has on

stomachs and digestion. The local farmer's market in our neighborhood has one

vendor that specializes in organics. She told me that her oldest DD couldn't

tolerate milk from the supermarket. Her DH gave her a cow, and her DD tried it

with no problems whatsoever; in fact she thrived, although she still cannot

drink milk from the store. I know this is slightly off topic, but since hypot's

have trouble with digestion, as a rule, we should share the things that will

improve digestion, and therefore improve overall

health. As long as you know your source of raw milk has good cleanliness and

hygiene, and certified raw milk farm must meet that standard, there is less

danger than there is with milk from the store.

You might have a milk protien allergy as opposed to being lactose intolerant.

That is what my children have. They can't even handle the raw milk, but I can.

About the protien powder, the only possible problem I could forsee would be if

you had an allergy to rice!

Re: /milk - boiled?

Even Lactaid milk gives me trouble - although not as much as the real

stuff. My doc said " no " to Lactaid. Didn't ask him about raw.
