Guest guest
My suggestion would be to order the Canaryclub.org cortisol and thyroid tests on your own so you can get free ts and your cortisol levels. An endo may or may not be helpful (for me it was not). Do you have IBS or EBV? Both can cause it. It seems like with uterus and adrenals showing some abnormalities your doc should take you more seriously, but we all know how that can be. Cheri -----Original Message----- Hello, My name is Vicki and I am 47 yrs old. I would really like some of your advice on which way to turn. So here is my story so far. First, I was diagnosed with Erythema Nodosum in 03/07. I have had a continuous outbreak since it started. So far we have not been able to find the " trigger " that causes it. I have been to a dermotologist, gynecologist, uroligist, rhumatologist, and gastroenterologist. My latest procedure was a ct scan. The report indicated the left adrenal gland appears " full " but I see no convincing space_occupying lesions. I have had a TSH test and that has come back at 0.78. I have almost all of the hypothyroid symptoms, even an average body temp of 96.9 (measured 4 times a day for a month). The CT scan also showed an enlarged uterus which may be related to multiple fibroids and an enlarged left adnexae containing multiple follicles. So, my question to you all: would you see an endocrinologist or a gynocologist first? I am not sure if my Dr. will refer me to the endocronologist. I feel he thinks I am just a hypochondriac at this point. I am not!! Just tired of being tired and feeling like crap. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading and listening to my rant. Vicki
Guest guest
Well, you are probably following a good diet to help your IBS but I also suggest a high dose of good probiotics. That has helped me with IBS more than anything else I have taken. Cheri Re: Newby questions Thanks Cheri! I do have IBS. I have been to the canaryclub.org site and I will probably order the tests. Guest guest
I would try ot find and Integrative Docotr. They or a DO seem to understand thyroid or adrenal issues best. You can also test your own adrenal function through www.canaryclub.org it is the best test for weak adrenals there is and complete as they give saliva testing for thyroid and sex hormones along wiht the 4 times in a day cortiosl and DHEA. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Hi , I have had numerous blood samples taken and at first my white blood count had been up. Now it is not. I am on amoxicillin for a sinus infection and it is a know trigger for EN and it is flaring worse now and with the infection I am Really dragging now. Thanks, Vicki > > Hi Vicki, > > This may sound overly simplistic, but has any doctor prescribed a course of antibiotics for the Erythema Nodosum? I had it once and one round of abx got rid if it. > > > > >>>First, I was diagnosed with Erythema Nodosum in 03/07.
