Welcome over to the Rutledge MGB side Bob.

Have your wife read the web site and patient manual

and see the stats regarding if you maintained your

current weight what would happen to your health.

I am a single parent of a Type I diabetic child and I

want to be around to take care of her. That thought

is more overwhelming than the thought that this

procedure might harm me.

Good luck.

I don't know who said that first but it makes a lot of sense to me. That's

why I started looking at alternatives.

Hello to all!

My name is Margot and I just joined your group April 24. I started being serious about losing weight on April 17 -- my weight was 258.5 (my heaviest) and I now weigh 249.7, but been having a hard time to lose more weight ever since. I hope to be 150 pounds someday.

Thanks again, Maureen!

Margot - having a glass of water now

-- Re: Re: Hello!

I think the more water you are able to drink the better you lose. It helps wash out your system and also fills you up so you don't want to eat as much. Just my opinion though!

Hi Maggie,

Thanks for the info about water. Gosh, I have to drink 124 ounces per day!

I found the article here: http://www.fis.ncsu.edu/health/hpromo/NUT-water.html

Trish, What a great feeling not being able to find your size at a " larger "

women's store. I can't wait until I get to that point. Your doing wonderfully,

keep up the great job!

Take Care,
