Guest guest
Hi All and Happy New YearStill haven't sorted out the problems with my new ISP and my computer also. So I am using someone else's Mac with great difficulty! Have sent a couple of posts but not sure if they are getting through. Question 1: I had a back tooth, abscessed for the last few months. Could not decide whether to go for root canal or have it pulled. It was not painful. Root canal option seemed not a good one when I heard that they can cause all sorts of problems so I went for the extraction. Luckily for me I saw a different dentist yesterday and he pulled the correct tooth, the idiot I saw in September said it was a different tooth that was the problem? And he was actually going to do a root canal on the wrong tooth at great expense to me. Hence reason for my delay, I did not have the cash. Can you believe this? Yes I am sure you all can being veterans and highly educated about the stupidity we come up against on a regular basis with the medical profession. I had it pulled yesterday and double dosed. Dentist said to double dose again today so I have. I actually came out of the closet about the h/c to the dentist though he could say he was more than slightly remiss in asking me if I had any medical conditions AFTER he pulled the tooth. Ho Hum.... No problems, no pain and swelling going down OK. How do I proceed from here with the h/c? Cannot remember what to do. I am on (usually) 25 mg per day at 10, 7.5, 5 and 2.5. Question 2: My son's is working his way up to a full Isocort dose. Does he need a medical alert card or suchlike? Thanks people, love you one and all.
