val,,,what doesnt make sense to me is why my tsh and ft4 levels are

higher in saliva than in blood when I was shown to have stage 5

adrenal fatigue with low cortisol. I would think the results would

have been the opposite. Im not sure whether I should medicate my

thyroid according to the blood results or the saliva results. my low

normal ft4 levels in blood would indicate armour being a good

med,,whereas the saliva results coming in high normal at ft4 and low

normal at ft3 would indicate a straight t3 med being the choice. Im

not sure which way to go here :(

WIth high tissue levels of T4 I would assume you have conversion

problems. That si why it si in the tissues for them to convert it ot T3

it is not. SO you do nto need ot pump more T4 in there a sit is nto

doing you any good, I would tend to go to straight T3 for this or the

body will start making RT3 to get rid of exces T4 be itin the blood or

tissues.

holy moly that stuff is expensive. more than double the cost of

armour. do you think it would be that dangerous if I tried armour

first and just switched to cytomel if I didnt get good results?

It si not dangerous at all and if it doesn;t work in releivin ghypo symptoms in

say 6 months you can then have RT3 tested and see if that has become a problem.
