Guest guest
hello, does anyone have any knowledge of what brand or type of anti-fungal is best ? i have a prescription for nilstat which is nystatin... or are they all basically the same ? i've found that some drugs have less side effects than others, but the doc never tells you about it. apart from itchie, when my candida goes nuts, i get a very full feeling in the head and feel like i've been drugged. my eyes get really heavy and i feel like i'm going into a coma or something. it's been like that for years, but i didn't realise what it was till now. it's not a nice feeling and i hope i can get rid of it. thanks, leonie
Guest guest
ones worked well for me, lamisl (systemic) and oral amp b (fungilin) together, good luck s On 29 Jul 2008, at 14:44, mumpup2000 wrote: > hello, > > does anyone have any knowledge of what brand or type of anti-fungal is > best ? i have a prescription for nilstat which is nystatin... or are > they all basically the same ? i've found that some drugs have less > side effects than others, but the doc never tells you about it. > > apart from itchie, when my candida goes nuts, i get a very full > feeling > in the head and feel like i've been drugged. my eyes get really heavy > and i feel like i'm going into a coma or something. it's been like > that for years, but i didn't realise what it was till now. it's not a > nice feeling and i hope i can get rid of it. > > thanks, > leonie > > >
Guest guest
OMG Amp B is used in very severe cases where it is almost life and death. There is nothing after that to help fungus. Diflucan is the best in regard to less liver damage. Nystatin is good to use on a daily basis but to start the ball rolling see if you can get a few diflucan. cooky ones worked well for me, lamisl (systemic) and oral amp b (fungilin) together, good luck s On 29 Jul 2008, at 14:44, mumpup2000 wrote: > hello, > > does anyone have any knowledge of what brand or type of anti-fungal is > best ? i have a prescription for nilstat which is nystatin... or are > _
Guest guest
Leonie I just replied in another note about the best antifungals to use. I also was thinking that maybe that full head feeling has something to do with your rheumatoid. cooky hello, does anyone have any knowledge of what brand or type of anti-fungal is best ? i have a prescription for nilstat which is nystatin... or are they all basically the same ? i've found that some drugs have less side effects than others, but the doc never tells you about it. apart from itchie, when my candida goes nuts, i get a very full feeling in the head and feel like i've been drugged. my eyes get really heavy and i feel like i'm going into a coma or something. it's been like that for years, but i didn't realise what it was till now. it's not a nice feeling and i hope i can get rid of it. __
Guest guest
again, please note ORAL amp b is as safe as the others. Im not talking about IV. That said Diflucan seems to have limited results for some people but is sure worth a shot if you can get the right dosage prescribed. Guest guest
leonie nystatin only works in gut so you prob need a course of something stronger like diflucan or nizoral. i have heard that diflucan is safer. make sure you get liver tests 1st as it is hard on liver. i would recommend doing a liver cleanse after the course. 14 days of 150 mg a day and then watching your diet after should help. it is easier to stay away from sweets after a course of diflucan i find. m hello, does anyone have any knowledge of what brand or type of anti-fungal is best ? i have a prescription for nilstat which is nystatin... or are they all basically the same ? i've found that some drugs have less side effects than others, but the doc never tells you about it. apart from itchie, when my candida goes nuts, i get a very full feeling in the head and feel like i've been drugged. my eyes get really heavy and i feel like i'm going into a coma or something. it's been like that for years, but i didn't realise what it was till now. it's not a nice feeling and i hope i can get rid of it. thanks, leonie
Guest guest
You are right but I have never done a liver cleanse because I have been afraid (ask Ethel.grinning here) but I do take milk thistle and a liver detox and have tried other liver function products. For as long as I have been on antibiotics and other meds I should have a liver like a petrified rock. I do not have abnormal liver function tests. As for the nystatin you are right about it being used for mucous membranes and definitely Diflucan would be better. After even one diflucan and doubling my acidophilis I do not crave sugar.
