Guest guest
So glad to hear it! See my posting. I now use Vibramycin (the generics did not work in the long run) one month, then minocycline (generic) the next month. I only take 100mg on Mon, Tues, Thurs & Friday. I am 100% " normal " as far as flexibility of all my fingers, no pains in any joints, and good energy level. I am not ready to go off the antibiotics. In a couple more months I will drop back to 100 mg just mon-wed-fri. And do that for at least six months. My Dr. lets me decide how much and how often to take the drugs...he honestly cannot believe how well I am doing, and still will not recommend this treatment to his other patients. (BIG PHARMA has stolen his soul!! At least he let me use the treatment...he was sure I would fail, and that would be the end of that. HA HA HA!!! Now he is stuck with me. Plus, all the blood tests keep coming back with liver and kidney functions all perfectly normal and healthy, and blood levels all really good. Even the RA level has dropped significantly. And yet, he will not recommend this treatment....am I missing something? > > My CPK is down to 307!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doxy since July 2010 - 200mg - > m-w-f - It has never been that low!!!!!!!!!! Guest guest
As far as docs shying away from AP, I have been told that it is their fear of the American Medical Association (AMA). One MD I talked to about AP just shook his head and said that he had been using oxytocin (not the pain killer oxycotin) to treat autism. He was reviewed by the AMA for prescribing oxytocin for " unconventional uses " and he had to agree to stop prescribing it, even though it helped! It is sad indeed. The AMA is not an unbiased agency...they listen to Big Pharmaceuticals. So very frustrating, and just wrong! But thank goodness for all the MDs who are willing to prescribe us antibiotics. For those who want to help others learn about AP, I encourage you to write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper. Include the rheumatic.org website, mention The New Arthritis Breakthrough by Henry Scammel. You just might help someone else find health. And once again, I encourage all of you to join the Arthritis Internet Registry so solid data on the effectiveness of antibiotics to treat rheumatic conditions will be in the hands of researchers. This will help further our message that AP works. http://www.arthritis.org/arthritis-internet-registry.php Thanks, Amy And hurrah for normalizing lab results and feeling better. We are all on our way! > > > > My CPK is down to 307!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doxy since July 2010 - 200mg - > > m-w-f - It has never been that low!!!!!!!!!!
