Hi Leonie,

I forgot to mention I can't have nightshades either! The Eat Right plan at

least has a larger list of neutral foods to weed through! I sort of think

all the diet theories are right; I just need to find the one that is right

for me.

I've eaten organic since 1986. I cheat occasionally when I go out to a Thai

or Chinese restaurant. I need to avoid dairy completely and those cuisines

work for me. I just have to make sure there's no MSG. The list of things

to avoid is ENDLESS. And yet I can't lose weight!

I've been on probiotics since 1986 as well. I also just started today on a

15-day course of Diflucan. I read the email about the Schardt protocol and

talked to my Dr. about it on Monday. He recommended I try it for 15 days

vice 50. If I don't sense any changes in that 15-day period, there's no

reason to continue for 50 days. If I notice changes for the better, I can

stay on it for the 50 day period and then follow up with the rest of the

protocol. At this point I'm trying anything. The next thing I'm looking

into is the MMS. That one is getting really good press from the Lymes

Strategies Group. I believe my positive test result for RA is the result of

the Lyme's so my main focus is to keep it under control if I can't eliminate

it all together.

I take comfort in believing that I and the members of this forum are

actually changing the practice (or is that malpractice) of medicine and the

treatment (again, mistreatment) of diseases. We are part of a revolution of

sorts and our ranks seem to be growing. I guess that's a bad news/good news

scenario LOL but I feel some excitement about all this. Our diseases and

recovery cannot be denied and we are actually in charge of much of this by

pushing our Drs to support what we want. It's powerful!

I love this forum and I learn so much from it. Thanks everyone for all the

exchanges. El

Hi El,

I don't even dare go down the path of eating for your blood type, lest i

find out i can' eat another food LOL.

This guy that I saw said veges and fruit are bad since they are ususally

picked unripe and still have certain chemicals in them that interfere with

your chemistry and cause a chain reaction - the chemicals subside as the

fruit/vege ripens and then they are ok. The trick is to buy organic or

freshly picked produce. It's got to be in season.

If yeast is a problem, then i don't think any fruit is ok because of the

sugar content ? I don't know... maybe someone can tell me that. Esp since

you can't have sugar while on the AP.

LOL, i thought i was the only one who thought shooting myself was one of the

options for getting the diet right... but that would be too easy and we are

fighters !! anyway, there's always hope, and I'm waiting on Lynne for some

of her yummy recipes ;)

All the best,

Leonie

You are so right about pushing the doctors. I have an appointment with my

rheumatologist this coming week and I will tell her what has happened since I

started antibiotics, iodine and gluten-free food. maybe now she will listen to

me when I tell her somethings is not right with all those crazy meds they trying

to force on us.

i really enjoy this group. so much info and not enough money. hahah
