Guest guest
Speaking of that, my friend tells me his dad is responsible for building a new plant that is going to produce " designer milk " , like milk for pregnant women, milk for old people, milk for whoever! Apparantly it will contain different amounts of vitamins and such depending on the application. Is that weird? Anybody know more about it? I ordered " The Milk Book " and am going to let his dad read it just to see what he says. He told my friend that if he let his kids drink the raw milk I was getting and they got sick that someone could come and take his children away on charges of child abuse! This is so frustrating!!! ----- Original Message ----- From: justinbond Sent: Monday, March 11, 2002 1:07 PM Subject: The brave new era of Coca Cola I thought people might find this article about coke's new product lines interesting: " I'm especially curious to hear about Project Mother, the milk venture. Gould explains that the company would never get involved in a standard all-milk product. It's a low-margin commodity business, and that's never been Coke's style. Any milk drink it does will be shelf stable (no refrigeration required), and some may contain very little actual milk or even forgo dairy entirely and use a soy base. The point is not the actual ingredients but the positioning. It's not milk; it's ''milk'': a drink that fits the breakfast occasion for kids, contains calcium and is nutritious enough to be approved by Mom. " http://www.nytimes.com/2002/03/10/magazine/10COKE.html?pagewanted=3 Right now its funny, but once they're in the stores and on TV, they'll just bug the hell out of me. Guest guest
Well now THIS is REALLY FRUSTRATING!! I've been searching all over the place this past week and so now I cannot remember where I saw it. I was very surprised when it popped up as I know it is out of print. This sight I was at had The Milk Book and Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, by Price. It seems to me it had some affiliation with NT so I thought it was Radient Life, but now that I go to find it again I see that Radiant Life does not have a website. So I can't figure out WHERE I was. I guess I'll just have to hope the book shows up and then I can tell you where it came from. Maybe someone else knows where I saw it. Sorry, leslie > Frustrating but true.
