My thermometer shows 37.7c to be almost 100F which is TOO high! I would NOT add another dose of Armour. It might be that you don't even need the first dose! Are your taking Isocort or HC? Please give details of exactly what you're taking and in what dose and how often. If you ever do need to increase thyroid, that is the correct way to do it--Armour should be split into 3 or 4 doses, because smaller doses cause less stress to the adrenals, and spreading the dose out gives you longer T3 coverage. Guest guest
Barb,it was 37.7c,but it happened only twice in the last 3 weeks. It lasted only 2-3 hours. The rest of the time Im 36.5 1st thing in the morning, and after 30mg,Im 37C for a fair while, though not been checking after 4-5 hours after meds. Before this i was always cold...in the 35's most of the time and colder 1st thing in the morn. Im not taking either Isocort or HC as im waiting to find a lab over here that will do these. Val said i might be not need this as ive adrenal fatigue, but waiting for labs to verify. Thanks,.
Guest guest
Normal morning basal, first temp of the morning before getting out of bed, should be 36.5-36.8, so sounds like you're already there. During the day, your temp will slowly rise from the morning temp to ideally, 37, which you're also at. Do you still feel cold or have any other hypo symptoms? If you feel fine, maybe that small dose was all you needed! Barb " k8teeth " wrote: > > Barb,it was 37.7c,but it happened only twice in the last 3 weeks. It > lasted only 2-3 hours. Guest guest
Temp is as you say...NOW...but not before meds. Not feeling cold anymore, but energy is not good,so Im hypo still that way and still feel CFS. But doc said it may take 6 weeks to notice anything that way.
