Butting in here, being sensitive to hot and cold are adrenal symptoms. With

me, at first it was only cold that bothered me but then hot did too. I can

only tolerate well somewhere between 75-85 degrees with 80 being ideal.

Which is actually too warm for most people but at one point when it was 110

degrees out I was shivering cold, lol.

I have noticed my tolerance to cold seems to have gotten a bit better on

cortisol.

important question about a friend with mixed

symptoms, Val.

Val, I have a friend named Vicki I am trying to help. She has gained lots

of weight the last year. She has high cholesterol. She is depressed. she has

a lot of muscle spasms and is in pain. That sounds like hypothyroidism. But

she is hot at even low temperatures AND she sweats a lot just from walking

around her chilly house. I had her print out a temperature chart and she is

going to start recording her temps. In the mean time, any ideas at this

puzzling mix of symptoms?

Sounds lust liek hypo with weak adrenals. I also was more heat intolerant than

cold! I sweat at 70 degrees!

Yes me too. It took me a long time to twig the hypoT thing because I

was always hot. Recently found out that low cortisol can lead you to

feel hot even though your own temp is low.

I've always always been heat intolerant but these days I can't tolerate

cold either. Here's hoping I'll soon be able to tolerate Armour. Am

seeing Dr P next Tuesday....
