I found out the study was conducted by InterHealth and I have asked for a copy of the study. For now, here is their website for those who are interested: www.interhealthusa. com FYI, I stopped Minocin last month due to severe gastritis which also flared up IBS and at direction of my GP. I was sick as a dog and lost 25 lbs. in a month. I am back on UCII since June 12th and so far so good... For those who may not recall, I was successfully on Minocin for 5 yrs but it stopped working so last resort, under Dr. Trentham, was to participate in the study. It worked great for 6 yrs and stopped working last October. 99% sure it was due to stress or viral infection per Dr. T. I poo-pooed the stress thing but actually the stress issue really fit, as I realize now all the severe personal and work problems that occurred all at once in my life at that time. Guest guest
Hi: I take one capsule 1st thing in a.m. with sip of water, then nothing more to drink or eat for at least 20 minutes, per Dr. Trentham. Bottle says take at bedtime but it works best on empty stomache and if taken 1st thing in a.m., you assure it is on empty stomache. Also, store the bottle in fridge. Feel free to email me direct at babs_p@.... I find it hard to maneuver this account!
