Guest guest
You should have Rt3 checked. I am still on all T3 adn it DID help though I am at 150mcg which is a fairly high dose. With your T4 that high I ma betting you have through the roof RT3 blocking the T3 from getting to the cells. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I see a hormone specialist and she told me that some patients are actually on quite a lot of thyroid, saying 8-10 grains for some of them. If increasing doses don't work, and adrenals are functioning well, ferritin is good etc, she gives compounded synthetic T4/T3 instead. I know Val mentioned Rt3, but my doc told me some people with high antibodies find they need more because the antibodies attack the replacement hormone instead of their own thyroids. I've never seen any objective study to this effect, but it sounds plausible to me based on what I do know about antibodies. Apparently it's the protein in Armour that is the problem. > > Val - I know you were once (and may still be) on a high dose of armour, > comparable to my current dose.
