Guest guest
This is pretty common as it lowers the adrenaline you have been running on. Are your temps stable where you can increase thyroid at all? This will help. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Hi Val, The scariest thing, apart from the extreme loss of energy, is that I'm now having endless burning pain in my lower ribs and heart. I don't know what this is, and I can't find anything that makes it go away for long. It sounds like acid indigestion or reflux or something, but it's just really a nightmare. Taking Cortef with yogurt hasn't solved the problem after all. I don't feel I can continue this until I solve the problem. Have you heard this before? Should I try the cream? If so, exactly what brand? What is it called? Is it an over the counter thing? I haven't started thyroid yet. My temps for the last week -- 98.13, 98.03, 98.33, 98.2, 98.13, 98.1, 98.2. Is this considered pretty stable? Thanks again, Violet > > This is pretty common as it lowers the adrenaline you have been running > on. Are your temps stable where you can increase thyroid at all? Guest guest
You could try the cream it is just 1% Hydrocortisone cream available OTC in any drugstore. 1/4 tsp equals 10MG. You could also try takign baking soda in water when that pain is bad. If it is excess acid from the HC that will help it almost immediately. I put abotu 1/2-3/4 tsp in about 4 oz water and gulp it down. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets

I was given an EKG, a heart stress test and also had heart imaging. Nothing found. All the pain was due to my pain medication (feldene/piroxicam) which is one of the absolute worst for causing stomach problems. The wonder is that I took it daily for so long before the problems surfaced, since I have a history of GI problems and stomach pain. Anyway, that is why I elected to stay with the HC cream and only rarely use the pill form. The cream just says " hydrocortisone cream, 1%. Currently using the walmart Equate brand which is the best of the two I've tried. The other I've used is Kroger brand, it is not as nice a texture and doesn't absorb as well for me. sol
Guest guest
Thank you Sol! This stuff is so difficult and scary. I have not had every heart test, but I've had many. To my way of thinking, it just figures that you were given pain medications that were giving you pain! Thank you for telling me what brand of hydrocortisone cream works well for you. It's so hard to figure all of this out! Violet > > The scariest thing, apart from the extreme loss of energy, is that I'm now having endless > > burning pain in my lower ribs and heart. Guest guest
It is very scary. I was convinced I was having heart attacks. And scary too because those tests got me sent to a cardiologist who wanted to do more tests (even though he said my heart was normal) and wanted to put me on statins. Luckily I knew better than to allow either. sol ikachoury wrote: > Thank you Sol! This stuff is so difficult and scary. I have not had every heart test, but I've > had many.
