Guest guest
Pounding heart is a hypo symptom. I added 1/8 grain at 10 p.m. to hubby's dose and that stopped it. His temps were stable so he was able to tolerate it. Don't know about your adrenals/temps, but if they're stable, you can try adding 1/8 grain to try. > > Please refresh my memory. Guest guest
From one of the lists of symptoms I wrote down, I think this is low cortisol? Could be wrong. I'd like to know for sure what that is. I've had it too, don't have it as much anymore. Had acutally forgotten abuot it. I used to have it practically every night. Scary thing. sol Grammy D wrote: > Please refresh my memory. Guest guest
Thanks Barb, and Sol - I'm still ramping up on HC and I just increased Armour up to 3.5 grains from 3.25. My temps were stable last week and now they are fluctuating and low again. It seems like there is a time when things seem optimal, then it goes to pot again. Guest guest
What is current HC dose and schedule? Guest guest
10 - 10 - 5 -5. I just increased yesterday, and again today due to fluctuating, low temps, 2.5 each day. Is that too fast and did it cause this? It's weird. I had this a lot before I started HC, but not in a while. >>>What is current HC dose and schedule? Guest guest
As you increase HC, more thyroid will be pushed to the cells, making you more hypo again. This is what may have happened. I would hold the dose for a few days and see if your temps stabilize. Barb > > 10 - 10 - 5 -5. I just increased yesterday, and again today due to fluctuating, low temps, 2.5 each day. Guest guest
Will do. Thanks, Barb. Is there anything I can do tonight. Would it hurt just this once, to take 1/8 grain extra Armour? ----- Original Message ----- From: Barb Sent: Tuesday, December 25, 2007 10:57 PM As you increase HC, more thyroid will be pushed to the cells, making you more hypo again. Guest guest
, This happens to me when I have not drunk enough water for a few days. I try to drink half my weight in oz. of water a day and then I don't have that problem. -- In NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS , " Grammy D " wrote: > > Please refresh my memory. It os nto the dorect action of low cortios to cause th e pounding but the adrenaline that is produced from the low cortiosl. Then it is usually as fast heartbeat as well. Also hypoglycemia can cause it form the dsame thing, when you go hypoglycemis oyu produce adrenaline too. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
>>>Pounding heart can be from many things.Low sodium, low magnesium, low thyroid or high cortisol.<<< Well, I do have chronically low magnesium (hypoparathyroididsm) but stay just inside low normal range with 4 Slow Mag, 1 mag glycinate and 1000mg L-Taurine. My mag was below normal for 20 years~! Adding the L-Taurine got me into the normal range. Sodium was also chronically low until I started the salt flushing. I'm inside the range now - I have an i-STAT to check my ionized calcium, ran a test last night and sodium is also in low normal range. Hey, I'm thoroughly cornfused now. I didn't get what Barb said last night, so took the extra 1/8gr Armour. I have some kind of itchy rash on my elbows (need to see my dermo), rubbed some 1% cream in them and then I slept for 7 whole hours and awakened feeling refreshed~! Temp is still low. Methinks it takes a few days at 30mg HC to know if it is coming up? I ordered that vet thermometer, so. . . My pulse was high again this morning (120) so did another salt flush with way more salt. It's down to 92. On the iodine list, I read that too much Iodoral can cause rapd HR, so will back up from 50mg to 37.5 tomorrow. Would that it could be that simple. Guest guest
Hi , Can you post examples of low magnesium level (with ranges)? You found this with blood tests, right? I get so confused by blood test results, and the so-called normal ranges. From those I think my magnesium is ok, and supplemental magnesium always makes me feel worse. But I'd have thought my sodium was ok too, and apparently it is actually somewhat low. thanks, sol Grammy D wrote: > Well, I do have chronically low magnesium (hypoparathyroididsm) but stay just inside low normal range with 4 Slow Mag, 1 mag glycinate and 1000mg L-Taurine.
