It will keep your blood pressure normalized, thus helping you not become lightheaded. The adrenals have properties that help retain salt. When these are low the salt becomes depleted. Adrenals love good whole/unrefined salt. This, imo, is a major step to helping them heal. OH, and btw, I'd cut out the carbonated water. Drink something else...milk, oj with your salt. But be sure to be drinking enough good regular water. I am not a proponent of carbonated drinks. You having stomach issues is what needs to be addressed. Apparently the carbon dioxide water isn't what your missing ; ) Queasy stomach continually may indicate a hormonal imbalance. Have you had your sex hormones tested recently?
