Actually, my pharmacist who is trained in supplements as well, confirmed from

his reference guide that bromelain actually hastens the excretion of the

tetracyclines from the body and therefore is not a good combination to take for

the purposes of the AP. I took bromelain for 2 years because it's supposed to

be good for inflammation before asking about this when my RA was bad. My

naturopath confirmed this effect.

I just read an article about how Bromelain potentiates antibiotics therapy,

including Tetracyclines - it is used in antibiotics therapy for patients who are

resistant to the effects of antibiotics. It's very interesting.

Scroll to nearly the middle of the page where the heading is " antibiotic

potentiation " .

Apparantly bromelain is amazing stuff for just about any problem as well. I

didn't know that !
