Just wanted this info on BIG PHARMA out there....I belong to the LEF, get many

of my supplements from them, this does not mean that I agree with everything

they say but I do have issues with Big Pharma.

Horrifying problems are being overlooked by a majority of the

American citizenry.

We hear almost daily reports of governmental ineptitude and fraud

but blindly assume this will not seriously impact us.

Complacency in the face of oppressive and ineffective government is

absurd in light of real world examples that exist today.

An extreme illustration can be seen between the per capita income of

North and South Korea. If you are fortunate enough to live in South Korea, you

enjoy annual per capita income of $26,000, but those confined to North Korea

struggle with a meager annual per capita income of $1,700. The North Korean

It was not always this way. In the early part of last century, North

Korea was the prosperous part of the country. It has more natural resources and

had greater industrial development. After suffering nearly 60 years under the

rule of a centrally directed economic dictatorship, the population is

impoverished. Famine is estimated to have killed millions in the mid 1990s and

remains a threat today. South Korea, on the other hand, has the 30th highest per

capita income in the world.

The difference between South and North Korea is government.

In the United States today, our government is being manipulated at

Hi Deb,

I also belong to Life extension. Love the magazine. Their prices on some

things are a bit high for me but love the magazine. I used to like the

magazine GNC put out but they do not even print it anymore. I have tried

other health mags and I am far beyond their articles thanks to all of you

and google so I don't buy them.

I understand big pharm has been taken to court many times by life extension.

I hope the government comes up against them! I call my senators and

legislators on a regular basis and encourage them to leave supplements

alone. I know all of us here would be lost without them. Thanks for the

article.

Getting ready to rejoin them again...I like to wait and get the most for my

rejoining in free supplements...yep, I love their magazine too!! I need to get

some Co Q 10 because I am on a low dose of statins and Dr W likes all his

patients on statins to take Co Q 10 ...makes sense....

Yes, we have to stay on top of Big Pharma and help Life E Foundation when we

can...I may not agree with everything they say and do...but they are usually,

wayyyyy ahead of research ....
