Hey Dora, Welcome to the group......I am in California and the prices of

homes are just stupid out here. I'm curious what is a normal price in NE for

a nice home. I see you just had your surgery a week ago, how are things

going for you? I hope your feeling well.

I live in a hisorical protected district

(http://www.heritagehillweb.org). There are pictures of all the

houses in the district on that site

(http://www.heritagehillweb.org/Search).

My Uncle has come up from Chicago and said our houses would be worth

a half to three quarters of a million in Chicago. Here they're " only "

about 150K-250K.

I know, I know, what about the snow? Eh it's not so bad. It's not

like the Michigan Lake Shore. It only gets really cold a few days a

year. I like it.
