Guest guest
Yes, soy is bad for hypothyroid people and especially people with Hashis. If you good " soy and thyroid " you will find lots of articles on it. Soy also is one of the most toxic crops manufactured today. Most in mass production use sewer sludge to fertilize, but even organic non-GMO soy is bad for the thyroid. Also, you should read this article: http://www.westonaprice.org/soy/lecithin.html A person would be better off eating whole foods that contain it rather than taking the supplement form. That is why even though PS is highly recommended on the STTM site and by several here, I do caution people because of the soy. They could make the lecithin for PS out of something like sunflower seeds instead, but it is a lot more costly to produce so all the ones I have found use soy lecithin. Which is really unfortunate. I think people would pay extra to have a non-soy source. Cheri Esmeralda...Re: New (ish) Member Thanks. No, I just didn't know. In fact, I didnt' know that I shouldn't use soy with Hashi!!
