Guest guest
>>I have an appointment with my endo on 9th Jan. I'm supposed to have thyroid bloods done today in time for him to see where I'm at..since I haven't taken any thyroid hormones since I saw him last when in hospital it doesn't seem to make any sense to do it now and possibly would be better to wait until I am ready to re-start Armour so that I'll know where I'm at after being on it a while. Does this make sense to you?<< DOes he know you are not on any thyroid? I would be calling hiim and tell him and see if he still wants the labs done. >>Also, I have found when I was getting dizzy and abit nauseas it would only start in the evening like after 6 or 7pm but today I have it since 11.30am (45 mins ago) I've taken a half tsp of salt. Just wondering why there would be a shift and hoping to God it's not here to stay. I had it pretty bad last night aswell for about 3 hours.<< I htink this is stress from the coming Doc appointement and labs. I would dose a little extra when you feel this. >>Since I'm taking my last HC at bedtime around 11pm or midnight, is the long period without any HC contributing to the 'inner shakes' when I wake up in the am? like 8 hours later. I'm not sleeping well either by the way, awake every couple hours and only sleeping lightly. Should I take some of my HC quota during the night? << You need to determinie if this is hypoglycemia or just low cortiosl. Of course taking some HC in the night will help either! But if it si hypoglycemia you could try a middle of night proitein snack too to try to keep the HC dose sown. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
No he doesn't know, I'm thinking the less he knows right now the better..don't want him telling me I shouldn't have done this..I figure there's a good chance my temps will have stabilised before the 9th and then I'll have been able to re-start the Armour and then tell him what I've done when I go see him. He really needs educating but I need to be able to show him our thoery works!i.e that I don't go into tremors form the Armour because I've waited to stabilise my adrenals at 30 or 32.5mg HC? I have no other doc here I can use for tests, I've been thru so many of them I was hoping I could keep him on my side and maybe even convert him slowly..although he seemed to think having tremors was not a big deal he did agree to me taking a total of 30mg (prednis + HC) over Xmas and he did take copies I made for him of the chapters from Dr Peatfields book on the Adrenal connection and the one 'to doctors'. > > DOes he know you are not on any thyroid? Okay so I'll try a protein snack tonight and see what happens. If it doesn't help I guess I could take the 2.5mg increase you suggested yesterday in the middle of the night?
