Hi ,  The [ast 7 days has been slow.  There was nothing on my computer

also.  I wasn't aware that there is a membership & acceptance policy to this

group.  If you want to get the mail that is open to everyone, just send an

e:mail asking a question on the specific disease you are dealing with.  This

could be for yourself or a loved one you are caring for.  What we do here is

support each other through the rough times, pass along information that is

pertinent to the subject.  Depending on the spedific arthritic disease, most of

us here believe in the Infectious theory and are on some sort of antibiotic

protol.  The join, just introduce yourself and tell us what disease or diseases

you need information or help with. most of us older members have had serious

illness that we have been able to overcome with various therapies and share our

stories with others who are newly diagnosed or seeking a diagnosis.  Just two

days ago, I believe it is

the people monitoring the site, put on a FAQ sheet.... That is a good place to

start.  if you didn't get it, I recommand you ask for it again and someone will

send it to you.  The FAQ sheet is good to print and it comes in several

languages.  I use it to whenever I see a new doctor or when someone asks

questions re: The Antibiotic Protocol.  Write a post telling us a little bit

about yourself and why you want to know more about arthritic diseases..And

if you didn't post something about your illness then nobody anwered. I know that

sounds confusing, but as soon as you ask several questions there will be someone

to answer. Dolores is a wealth of info because she is in remission now ( and I

am jealous, LOL) so are some of the oldtimers and yes the FAQ sheet is great it

just was posted a few days ago, if you need it I will forward it to you.

Hi Eva,  Just to let others know, that the remission came after almost 5 years

of Blood, Sweat & Tears.  It is not an easy road.  You must become dedicated

to seeing your therapy all the way thru to the end and not get hung up on

symptoms.  We help the symptoms along, but cannot get discouraged part way

through and give up or change in mid progress.  I had to bite the bullet many

times and keep on going even though the symptoms seemed like they would never

subside.  And then even in remission (when all tests come back negative) I

still need to take extra naps, eat well, not overtire myself and keep taking the

Minocin at half dose three times a week for prevention.  These diseases leave a

person with damages that take a very long time to heal.  And, in time, the body

is made to heal itself and it will.  but it takes a great deal of patience. You

have no idea what patience it took and will power.  My disease, Scleroderma,

was considered to be

terminal and I was far along the way.  Even, my doctors are amazed at the

results of the " Antibiotic Protocol "   If anyone is looking for a fast fix,

this is not it.  I am now 74 yrs. old and will never have the same energy I

once had, but I am no longer dying from my disease, I am living to the best

capacity that I can with it and glad to be alive. My diagnosis came to me in

2005, but I was sick a lot longer before that without a diagnosis.  I am and

will be forever grateful to Dr. MacPhersen Brown for the discovery of the

" Antibiotic protocol and the discovery of the " Infectious Theory.  Also to

Henry Scammell for writing the books on the subject.  May they both R.I.P .I am

grateful to the members of this site and to the Roadback site for their

support and leading me through all the rough times.  I am grateful for the

leads that led me to the doctors who believed in the Protocol.  God Bless every

one of them. Above all, I can never

thank Lynne Santos enough for rescuing me and telling me about this fantastic

therapy.  She searches sites where they don't believe in this protocol and

gives them this information.  She & I are now soul sisters and will forever be

close.  She had faith in me and made me promise that when I got well, that I

would pick up the cause and help others and I thank this site for giving me that

opportunity.  By now, you're all blind from reading my long post.  Just wait

till the book comes out. My heart goes out to all of you recovering.  Don't
