Guest guest
So I tried LDN for 3 months a couple different times, both times to no avail. One year on antibiotics, same results, nothing. Also took all the supplements and cleanses recommended on regular basis. Again, nothing. So I began Plaquenil a few days ago which was my LAST resort. I don't know waht to do. Do I continue with the Plaq that scares me? Do I stop it and instead double the antibiotics to 200mg doxy rather than 100mg like I have been doing? And if I did that can it take at once rather than twice a day to conserve on my probtioics? Also, as far as MMS, what specific sites are people buying it from? If I tried it, should I continue with the antibioitcs or try alone? I wish it had a money back guarantee as much as its not that $ because just today I spent so much on supplements, thousands a year that havent helped. the last thing is, i use to take collodial silver, the learned that it can make one permanently blue. So I stopped it. I worry about MMS doing some sort of internal or external damage like that. What does everyone think? Thanks for any responses. Guest guest
Hi Amy...I just have to comment and give my (of course!! LOL)) opinion on your theoery of our conditions and what helps and doesn't. I am on the same page exactly with you. When I started with Dr Brownstein 9 yrs ago, he tested EVERYTHING and I mean everything and we began there. The AP treatment was started also immediately, but from that point, he corrected all my hormones (which were whacky), gave me supplements tailored to my needs, tweeked them over the years, and of course diet plus. I so believe about the " pieces to the puzzle " and that there are many, some being more vital than others, but when they all fall into place, that's when the healing, whether be curing or remission, takes place. Last week I saw him and he had my most recent blood work and my SED rate has been coming down s-l-o-w-l-y over the the years......started 9 yrs ago around 90 and it is now 6.1. He said between 0-6 is normal. I've had amazing improvements over the years, however, for me it HAS taken years, where some people get results much faster. I'll take this, believe me, b/c I'm at a different place than I was a long time ago, so again, if any of you feels discouraged, keep with the program and know that with certain people's systems, it can be a very slow process. I don't consider myself in remission yet, but heading there. thanks, Judy **************Psssst...Have you heard the news? Guest guest
Everyone is can to give you a different answer about this, based on their own experiences. I'm not any different. I agree with everyone who talks about diet. I think diet is the foundation for anything else we try. And in my experience, hormones play a big role in disease and body pain. Those need to be tested by an alternative or integrative medical doctor. My personal opinion is that blood testing is OK, and saliva testing is also good. But if you want a doctor who knows how to READ and understand those tests, you have to go to a hormone or an Integrative Medical Doctor. Or, you have to learn how to read those tests yourself. Because mainstream doctors aren't taught these things in medical school Even endocrinologists are terrible, and unwilling to learn anything knew. The Alt medical doctors don't learn this in med school either - the alt medical doctors had to take extra education to learn these things. Also, in my experience, but after hormones were supported, was that I get a benefit from certain dietary supplements. Obviously, many people here have experienced a benefit from AP. As for MMS, no one knows. However, my personal opinion is that it is not likely to be dangerous. I think you would know if you feel a benefit after the first one or two tries. It's oxygen therapy. There are doctors who talk about oxygen therapy on you tube. There will always be people who will say that any of these protocols are snake oil. For example, my rheumatologist thinks that anything besides DMARD's for RA is nothing but oil on top of fire. (my doc's attitude is like 's - lol).
