and newbies,

" itchies " means itching in the vaginal region for a woman. it's

called thrush and it means that the yeast fungus or candida, are

growing in our body. they like it in the vagina cos it's nice and

cozy and moist there which is an ideal environment. to us women it's

an indicator of whether we have a yeast infection in our bodies or

not. i guess men don't get this symoptom, but i know men still get

serious candida infections which manifest in different ways.

the antibiotics we take kill off all the good bacteria in our guts,

which then allows the bad ones like candida to multiply and make us

sick. good bacteria keeps candida in check so it's imperative to

take good quality probiotics at regular intervals while on AP.

actually, everyone healthy or not, needs to consume foods that

contain good bacteria in order to stay healthy eg yoghurt, fermented

foods etc. basically most of our immune system is located in our gut

which for all intents and purposes is located on the outside of our

body, since it has to filter all sorts of incoming foods and toxins

that we take in, and stop things from poisoning us. the bacteria in

our gut our crucial to this function.

besides white sugar being a deadly poison to the human body and

should be avoided by everybody (can supply further info if required),

when our systems are sick and very upset like they are when we have

an autoimmune condition, we shouldn't be poisoning ourselves further,

but eating healing foods to get well again. why weigh oneself down

with additional poisons to the body when we struggling so much to get

well again ? antibiotics isn't a magic bullet that we can just

swallow a pill and everything will go away.

that's my take on things anyway...

stay away from sugar and eat a bit of fruit if you need sweets ;)
