Guest guest
Morning Carole, Yes, I believe you are correct! ....and expensive. Funny that you said that about his snooty office staff. I agree. lol. He was wonderful though. He mentioned a few other things on this first visit as we were discussing my history. Do you know of " Bio Identical Hormone Therapy and ISAC? " Did he tell you why he believes that doxy is a better protocol for you? I will be juggling both docs too. I feel both have important rolls. I am still feeling very nervous to tell my new Rhumi Doc of my decision to take LDN and move forward with the AP therapy. I hurt today but slept much better. I can no longer take Ibuprofen at all and choose not to take anything stronger. I have a very high pain threshold but yikes. Last night was my first LDN dose. Small 1.5mg to start. I'm already ready to double up the dose....lol. Lets get this show on the road, right!! I see our Doc again in a month. Hope you are well today. Do you know of " Bio Identical > Hormone Therapy and ISAC? " I believe, and I told him, that Bio Identical Hormone Therapy that was not correctly compounded is how I got sick. I did find one resarch paper months ago that supported that theory. So I won't do that again. I may go back on pills after the rest of my body settles down I am on doxy as a coincidence that that my Rheumie gave me - so I will stay on doxy just am using it differently. My Rheumie doesn't like minoncicyline cause of the potential lupus connection - And I have to juggle two docs as well -well really three when you consider my pcp - I guess I am understanding this " gut " issue - and understand that I will probably have to change my non existant diet - I guess I am not familiar with LDN - I don't hurt per se - my core muscles are very weak and my upper body muscles are very weak - there are different kinds of auto immune diseases Hope you have a good day Carole > Did he tell you why he believes that doxy is a better protocol for you?
