How long after the supps does he have a bm? If it is truly *immediate*, I don't know that supps would have had time to get there. What does the bm look like? Guest guest
> > Hi Dana, > > It is immediately and the bms range from normal to > watery. A normal bm would usually mean things were being absorbed. A watery bm usually means things are not absorbed. But if it varies, and the supplements are the same, then it is probably not the supplements that are causing the problem. Track his foods for a week or so, see if you can determine which foods are causing the watery bm. Dana
Guest guest
We use omega-brite EFAs, so I can't answer your question about ProEFA or ProEPA. I think recommends 600 IU or more of d-alpha tocopherols and some gamma as well for vit E. I really, really encourage you to try carnware (carnaware.com) also. > > Hi! Guest guest
My neurologist - a brainy conventional geek - suggested B-1, B-12, alpha lipolic acid to get rid of the tingling sensations. I also take garlic and a combination of essential fatty oils (borage, fish and flax seed oil) as well as calcium and a multi vitamin. I stayed on vitamins, supplements and exercise for 23 years, but my last MRI showed that was an big error on my part - based on the accumulation of plaques. I have taken LDN for 4 days and have numbness from the hips down to the feet - a sensory numbness as opposed to not being able to feel pin pricks. I have not slept since Friday - insomnia? I am also trying to find some kind of a work a home job - no luck there yet. Thanks <keepsmyelin@...> wrote: Can anyone experienced offer any suggestions as to what supplements to take with MS, and whilst using LDN. It would be greatlly appreciated. Be a better Globetrotter. Guest guest
, you mentioned plaque and I'm wondering if that's the same that Alzheimers'patients suffer from? If so, research at the University of Texas has found tumeric to be useful in preventing and blocking the growth of cancers and researchers at the University of California believe that turmeric may play a role in slowing down nurodegenerative diseases. This may explain why India has low Alzheimers rates as they eat a lot of turmeric.
Guest guest
Noreen: These are MS plaques or legions that have showed up on every MRI I have ever had. The first neurologist was brutal with the news, so I fired her and found another one. I think these plaques or legions can be healed, but I have to find the right combination to achieve that. Guest guest
I used BetaSeron for three months in 1995 along with the other drugs and decided I wanted to live a life free of the drugs and side effects of drugs. I did extesive research and it worked until this year. Now, I am on Copaxone and LDN and supplements - where I would rather not be, but that is what it is for now. Guest guest
I had to laugh when you said that your fired the doctor. Many AIDS patients have had to do the same. I would encourage others to find doctors that are progressive and will work with them because one's life depends upon this. Patients are becoming more and more educated to their diseases and expect doctors to recognize this and not just take a pill because they say so. Guest guest
India is also very low in having MS disease. Tumeric is an excellent supplement and it works exceptionally well when combined with biopren (pepper). Guest guest
Noreen: I fired six neurologists over the years because all they want to do is take MRIs and push their poisonous pills. I am now back with on neurologist that I fired in 1995 because he suggested streoid treatment, bee sting therapy, do nothing and another mode of treatment, and then asked what I wanted to do. At the time, his approach was too mind-bogling for me. And, I know there are not enough neurologists in this area, so I do not plan to fire this one. He is working on research on tests and treatments for MS, AIDs and other illnesses, so maybe he is my best hope for now. Guest guest
I don't think that it matters what form it is taken in. When I was extremely sick, I took it in capsules form from the health store. The pepper was taken too. In fact at the height of my sickness I was taking slightly over 50 pills a day of vitamins, supplements and herbs. The doctors thought that I was nuts but I was so weak and run down after doing research I devised a game plan and stuck with it. I always told them what I was taking. I think a lot of their sceptism was that they were unfamiliar with natural products and alternative medicine. I believe in complimentary and alternative medicines. If it works use it. Guest guest
Hi, is right I used to attach a copy of Dr. Lawrence's protocol and supplements for MS. However, many people would not get the e-mail do to the attachments, so I stopped sending the attachments and just included Dr. Lawrence's web site address in the welcome-email. His site address is: http://www.msrc.co.uk/ Hopefully he has posted his protocol and list of supplements.
