Guest guest Posted July 23, 2001 Report Share Posted July 23, 2001 well . today i had a cheese omlet for breakfast and a salad with blue cheese and 8 hotwings for dinner i went to see my aunt who is in a hospice she was supposed to live two more days and it has been four she has heart and kidney failure but her mind is sharp as a tack its a shame..i would feel better if she was in a coma and did not know what was happening my dad who constantly does research on diet and nutrition was having back problems and could not sleep because of the pain so he researched all about osteoporosis and all about what causes pain and inflamation my dad is 86 and he had his stomach removed 20 years ago because of cancer so he has deduced that he doesnt get enuff calcium because of that . he says there are several supplements that will fix the problem first off we should take calcium citrate but not in the amounts they say 1000 mg is too much and will cause calcuim to build up on our bones he says 300 mg is enough secondly there is a drug called calcironin that you can get from your doctor that will work if you have osteo but. there is a natural substance called ipriflavone that will have your body produce its on calcitronin he says take 200 mg 3x a day with food.. also take Vit K and boron.. for pain and inflamation . which are caused by substances produced in your body . you need to clean them out take grape seed extract, stinging nettle, ginger and 1 tbsp a day of flax oil also there is a book available called the osteoporosis solution by carl germano and robert hoffman check it out on Amazon if you are interested in learning more my dad says its a good book except for the Low Fat misinfo ...but it tells you how to prevent/ treat the problem naturally and without taking estrogen thats not good for your Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
