Hi Lynne

Thank you for the reply. I did read all the informtion

you have sent to me. I read from internet a lot too.

There is many contradictons that has made me confused.

I don't know which is correct.

I will see my Doctor in two weeks. The last blood test

I did should show the ratio of D25 and D1-25.I will

find about it in two weeks.

I have heard fasting is god for gut but I am already

underweight.it will make me more skinny.

I probably do a gut cleasing in summer when I have

more time.

My problem is every time I get a flu all the

improvements disappear and I get sicker than ever. I

was not that sick before starting the AP. Now I am

sick. My stomack is better since two days ago after

stopping Metronidzole and ketokenazole.

I am going to take fish twice a week to get some

proteins.

Dolores was so ill and after 18 months she is doing

very well. I am wondering what is wrong with me.

have a good week end

Hi Soheila;

The way you are describing your situation sounds like a really bad

herx to me.Stop the antibiotics for 3-4 days and then tell me how you

are feeling. If the pain is still as bad it is not a herx.Flu symptoms

are part of herxing.I know it is really hard to tell disease progression

from it.

I am having some really bad ones also and have been working so hard

physically for the last few weeks that I thought I would die last

night.Every muscle, tendon and inch of skin was burning so badly that

even the weight of my body on the bed set it off even more.I did not

take antibiotics for 2 days and feel much better today and I wont take

my evening dose today either.I am giving myself a break for the

weekend. It is nice to know when it is a herx or is not so that you can

get some sort of control in your life.I can now plan to go places and

feel good.

Until you know about your D situation avoid the fish as it has a

lot,eat chicken that has not been fed antibiotics if you can find

it.Fasting for one day and juicing for an other won't make much

difference in your weight and just might give your gut that much needed

break.I hope you are using digestive enzymes all the time.Speaking of

enzymes, did I tell you about my cat ,Velvet? She has mega colon which

means her stools are wider than her little anus and she gets blocked up

and I have to run to the vet to get her cleanrd out.Anyway, after a

couple of years of this she started to have moderately severe colitis

and had the reverse problemand was very very sick. She would start

vomiting and stopped eating for 4 days.I started pureing fish or

chicken, added enzymes and psyllium and bottle fed her a few days.No more

vomiting and she started eating on her own.Today she is back to

normal,no colitis,no mega colon,nothing!If I forget her supplements for

even 2 days she starts having problems again.Let me tell you that vets

are wayyyyyyy ahead of a lot of our doctors. Lynne xxxxx

Poor little Velvet. Do you know which supplement helps Velvet the

most? Interesting that you could bottle feed her.

I just adore animals to pieces... but I am allergic to them! We have a

neighborhood cat named Floyd. He waits in the parking lot for people to

come home runs up to every one hoping for attention and a rub. I sit

with Floyd, talk to him. Then I go inside & wash everyplace he's

touched me.

I always had sluggish bowels. I've read that my low thyroid is a

factor. Cooked cabbage & beans help me the most. lol

Hi Amy,I just gave her what I take.Psyllium and digestive exzymes but in

a much lesser dose.I had leaky gut and doc told me to use them. When

Velvet started to have problems the vet told me to use the same things

for her. They work wonders for both of us.As to pets,I have 14 stray cats

that have adopted me and as soon as the snow is gone the muskray and

skunks will be sitting on the front porch waiting for me.One crazy goose

that finally found a girl friend and left for the winter, bet he will be

back come springtime also.A few rabbits and racoons round things out

nicely.Everyone gets along just fine except for the rabbits

Bowel problems are often part of our diseases .Read up on it when you

google " Dr.Leo Gallant and leaky gut " . Lynne

Wow... a peacable kingdom! :-) That sounds fabulous. Maybe the goose

& girlfriend will bring back a brood. haha. The rabbits don't get

along? I thought they would be the nicest & the cats would harass

them. Don't invite fox to that party. haha.

I must say that I think I was BORN with bowel problems. I remember

having to sit on the pot when I was very young & my mother handing me

prune juice. I don't recall my diet back then, but I just remember

those 'fun' times. lol. I don't have those problems any more. The

fiber and leaky gut is a whole nother topic though. I have been feeling

that the soluble fibers help me more than insoluble... but I

periodically kick the jury out for more debate! lol.

it seems many who have rheumatic disease started out with bowel

problems. i remember being rushed to hospital in my early teens with

what they thought was appendicitis and turned out to be severe

constipation. also in early 20s i would get such bad intestinal cramps -

often incapacitating - only relieved by find a bathroom FAST!! boy that

created some situation. i remember being in thailand in a van with a

bunch of ppl i barely knew and getting an attack. i asked them to stop

at a bathroom and they couldn't find one. by the time they did i was

sweating and almost screaming with pain. i wish i knew then the

importance of bowel health. maybe i could have avoided this?
