Guest guest
Puerto Rico is a territory of the U.S. The people are U.S. citizens. People can go back and forth freely. I have AT & T and I can telephone PR. As I understand it is business as usual that people have to wait for lengthy periods to be seen. There is a program for the poor otherwise people have insurance. Thumbs up for single payer insurance. Who needs to enrich insurance companies and have them with Big Pharma to control medical care. Wow Dolores. I don’t think I like socialized medicine! I get upset and won’t go back to a doctor if I have to wait any longer than 20 minutes. Long ago I waited 4 hours to see a rheumy and I never went back. Here in the US there are a lot of doctors (so far) and you don’t need to put up with crap like that. I guess you put year round sun, warmth and socialized medicine on one hand and efficiency and 4 seasons on the other….Even tho sun and sand sound wonderful I think I will stay here and shovel snow for a couple of months. (giggling). cooky
