Guest guest
Oh aren't I the lucky duck. M RE: Cabs in Durham <<I'm thinking about comming for a visit in April and was just wondering when the support meeting will be then if it doesn't get canceled because of snow or something>> Don't worry about it, , we don't get snow in April here. In an average winter we get about a centimeter of snow--you just got lucky while you were here and witnessed a once-in-a-lifetime blizzard. By the sound of it, this cabdriver must have a few other talents besides weaving through traffic...
Guest guest
Sue: My guess is that a cab from the airport will be about $25. I would actually call the Duke Towers and see if they have a shuttle or a suggestion of avan or such to use. Dee in MI had a guy she lkes and from Iceland used him and I think he was reliable. From Duke Towers to Dr R, it's no more than $10 as it's right up the street about a few miles..one of the closest hotels to the hospital and clinic...If you have any littermates too, they might be able to pick you up even at yourplace to give you a ride to clinic if you ask... Good luck! Stevie Oh, BIG suprise here folks with that lovely Extended Stay on Tower Rd..theyjust had a break in situation-guests AND the lobby, so there's ANOTHER reasonI wouldn't recommend it. And for this weekend, the Homewood is booked due to athletic teams for Dukeand Carolina booking them, so our rate won't work as NOTHING is available. Duke Towers stays safe from that as they are off the path and cater to dieters. > Date: Tue, 22 Feb 2000 21:53:09 EST > From: Milwsue1@... > Subject: Stevie-another question > > Stevie, > Again, I want to thank you for all the wonderful information. I suspect that it also helps that he's Christian AND walks the walk. Dee in MI.
