Hi All;

My name is Chuck Sarley. I have been a member of the MSA line for some time

but have not posted anything as yet.

Well here goes my first posted question. I was first diagnosed with PD four

years ago. Last year this was changed to MSA. Nothing more definitive than

that.

I am at the point where walking alone is out of the question.Walking with a

cane or walking stick stopped being an option weeks ago, I am using a walker

with wheels and a seat for now. I no longer go outside due to inability to

walk. We have just made arrangements to purchase a Hoveround motorized

wheelchair through E Bay.

I do get some relief from my PD meds. SinemetCR Comtan and a Mirapex at

bedtime to try and control the shaking in my legs that I get at times.

That is a little background of my situation. My back is driving me wild.

When walking I am hunched over leaning forward from the pain. The pains

almost unbearable at times. Its located in my right side kidney area. At

times the pain is so tight it feels as though I have a corset on that is

two sizes too small.

I have taken Celebrex, Zocor with no relief. Two Liquid Advill or Aleve give

some relief. Am presently going to PT and doing exercise. HAVE ALSO DONE

therapeutic massage and been to two Chiropractors. Next I guess we try

Acupuncture. Through all this I am starting to lean aver to my left side

when ever I sit.

Have any of you come across this type of problem? Up to now my Neuro and GP

have been little help

Sorry for the long posting.

Thank you

Chuck S
