Guest guest
When you take a higher AM dose it lowers ACTH and you will run lower in cortisol at night which is probably why you are waking so early. moving the bedtime dose to 5MG and lowering the AM dose a bit should balance oyu out. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Thanks, thought so. My Top Doc explained why he originally wanted to start me on 20mg all in two early doses. He said that sometimes it's possible to dose it that way and the patient's adrenals do the rest with just the early day supplementation. He didn't pay any attention to my saliva labs showing me at stage 5 during that first appt and when I went back I was already taking 32.5 mg in four doses. That's when I asked about the two early dose strategy and he said that sometimes it works and sometimes it takes a whole day dosing schedule like I am doing and that I could go up to 40mg. He still wanted me to front-load the dosing which is why I have been trying the 15 first. I'm going to adjust the way that you suggest. Temps have been very steady for the past four days - between 98.1 and 98.2. I think that I could up another 1/8 and I felt pretty hypo today so I would like to, but I struggled last weekend and had to stress-dose to get through it. I'm just going to stress-dose a little prophylactically when I increase from now on, but I feel like I should stick where I am for a few more days. > > When you take a higher AM dose it lowers ACTH and you will run lower in > cortisol at night which is probably why you are waking so early. moving > the bedtime dose to 5MG and lowering the AM dose a bit should balance > oyu out.
