Mo,

Have your son go to the University book store and pick out

special paper that makes the card look professionally made

the sheets will be anywhere from 1 cent to 18 cents each

he only needs to buy a couple then print them out on their

laser printers. Have him make several so that he

can put them everywhere and print some for you as well.

If he puts this in his wallet in front of his drivers license he

will not forget to show it. This is great since for pennies we

can update as our medications change.

I gave him My bracelet a couple of days ago and just wrote on a

piece of card - adrenal insufficiency, 20 mgs Isocort.

I told him to get the piece of card typed up and laminated when he

got back to college.

And I have just shown him your post. It did not occur to him for a

second to show the officer his bracelet, I suppose because he he so

unused to wearing it, he just forgot in the shock of the arrest.

I don't think either of us can afford to pay to join this

organisation but certainly there are plenty of benefits to having

this kind of I.D.
