Re: Pain In Kidney Area

I feel that all the time too, especially since I've entered the later

stages of AF. I think it is the adrenals, often times, I don't have

an infection either when it hurts. Sad, I've never found anything

that states that adrenals can actually hurt unless related to an

adrenal crisis. If anyone can find any documentation that this does

occur in ADrenal Insuficiency or Fatigue, let me know.

All I do, is ignor it. I don't like covering up pain with tylenol or

anything because then you don't know how bad it really gets. One time

it was hurting bad, I went to the ER, and they found nothing but a

few ovarian cysts.

Another cause of it, could be constipation. If you don't empty out

your bowels completely everyday, they can get full and those

intestines go everywhere inside you and can cause pain. I'm always

constipated to some extent, and have stage 4-5 adrenal fatigue, so

its a toss up for me.

I developed this pain and all my health problems when I was 5 months

pregnant. I spent the last 2 weeks of my pregnancy on pethidine.

I have had attacks ever since. The first showed infection but nothing

ever since. It drops me like a ton of bricks. Pain was I am about 8-9

out of 10. The tell me that I am loaded in the bowel but that is not

always the case.

I found I once I got the pethidine I had a really good pee and felt

much better. My doc suggested that next time I get it to give a

urnignsample for the hospital to check she called it: Urine Porphyrins

Test. Could be something for you to look into. The symptoms didn't

quite fit with me but the test will be worth a try anyway.

Nothing I took relieved the pain. Morphine doesn't last 5 minutes plus

it make me sick. Have no idea what pethidine does but it works a

treat. I also found that if I was not given the full vial I was in big

trouble. I know when the time is to get it and if I do I am much

better the next day and don't need to go back for a second shot. I am

pleased this only happens once or twice a year for me with needing the

pethidine. Not something I like have to take. By the way I just get

mine in the bum. It might take longer to work but it lasts longer.

Hope you don't need to go that far though.
