Guest guest
I am very iffy about iodine. For me it reactivated Hashi antibodies that had been quiet for a long time I started having Hashi attacks on a regular basis just taking 4 drops Lugol's a day, I was told I shoudl take Selenium wiht it, but I cannot take selenium. SO though I knwo it helps SOME for others it does seem to cause the Hashi;s to be worse. So I htink there is alot more to learn abotu it before I would catre blanche recommend it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
But Val....do you get Hashi's attacks while on such a high dose of Cynomel? I thought suppresive doses would not allow for Hashi's attacks? Naffy > > For me the Hashi attacks start with feeling a bit like I am coming down > with somehting. What theiodine does is Stimulate the thyroid to try to work. I aldso feel if you are taking adequate thyroid you are getting ALOT of iodine as thyroid hormones are made up of iodine atoms. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I don't choke like that, but my neck and throat have been getting sore on and off for months as I have tried to get on enough Armour. I felt OK on Friday but increasingly hypot and hypoA this weekend and the neck was hurting today along with everything else. My temps also started to dip. I was hoping to hold this latest Armour increase for another week to give my adrenals a rest, but 1 3/4 grains isn't cutting it. Is it normal for the hypo symptoms to come roaring back so soon after an increase - last weekend. The dizziness this weekend was also very pronounced which I associate with adrenals, but my BP was good - systolic rising 10 points standing, and BS was good on Sat. when I tested it. > > For me the Hashi attacks start with feeling a bit like I am coming down > with somehting. Guest guest
Some people really feel thyroid increases each and every time as an increase in symptoms until you go=et to abotu 2-2.5 grains Usually then it starts turning around and you actually feel better with each increase. I thinkit has to do with lowering the TSH and thus your own thyroid hormones -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I feel the exact same way sometimes too. I've got some antibodies, so maybe it is Hashi's after all. > > For me the Hashi attacks start with feeling a bit like I am coming down > with somehting.
