Guest guest
Leonie, is correct. Disease starts in the colon! With 80% of immune function taking place in the gut, when it is out of balance disease can and does eventually take you down. Nutrition with appropriate supplements (including a good probiotic) and rebalancing the gut is essential then to a return of health - no matter what the diagnosis. That is the reasoning behind the IV clindamycin - to clear the gut - jump-starting the AP therapy. However, we now know that in the majority of cases there are ways to do that can be just as effective without resorting to toxic drugs. It's called detoxing the body doing parasite, bowel and liver/gallbladder cleanses - sometimes over and over again depending on the severity of the illness. In some cases kidney, bladder and heavy metal cleanses are required as well. The use of home-made saunas can be of so much benefit. Detoxing is something everybody should do once or twice yearly in this day and age. Yes, it's work - something most people refuse to do preferring to swallow a pill, hoping it will do the same thing. It doesn't. Dr. Hulda , Ph.D., author of many books including " The Cure for All Diseases " lists cleanses and cleanups on her site - www..net. I've used them and have recommended them to others who have used them - all with good success. I've also found parasite cleanses by Premier Research Lab in Round Rock, TX. to be very effective - Parastat and Paracidin. Paragone by Renew is another very effective one. It takes a good 30 days to clear parasites - sometimes longer. For the liver/gallbladder cleanse, I prefer using more lemon juice long with the cold-pressed virgin olive oil than Dr. recommends. The FAQ has information on clearing Candida and leaky gut. Remember to drink a lot of water, and make sure you have two good bowel movements a day. If constipation is a problem, it must be corrected. Consider taking a heaping teaspoon of pysillium in a full glass of water daily. Intestinal 1 by Dr. Schulze (www.herbdoc.com) is very effective. BTW, the organisms responsible for these diseases thrive in an acid, oxygen-deprived environment, so raise the alkalinity of the body through your diet. www.hacres.com has good information. The book " Alkalize or Die " by Broody includes values for foods to help you determine which foods you should eat to keep the body in an alkaline state. Ethel rheumatic dear Ethel/healing the gut/I need help Hi Ethel, I'm stalling on starting the AP due to a mixture of anxiety and lack of knowledge about it. I now realise, thanks to monique, that gut health is crucial to success on the AP. Can you give me some pointers as to what you did, and what protocols/products you used to heal your gut ? I just can't figure it all out on my own and i find naturopaths useless. My mind is like mashed potato these days and i need help. Thanks so much... ~Leonie
