I am not convinced that Medrol is better than HC. What doses of HC have

you tried and did you get thyroid optimal while on it? Usually unless

oyu went really high in coritosl the fluid retention is from hypo. And

if oyu went high in cortiosl oyu do nto need a stronger steroid. I ended

up getting fluid retention on Medrol when I tried it too. I also never

found a way to dose it that felt good. It is next to impossible to have

a normal cortisol rythm with Medrol.

I am on medrol and have experienced no water retention

and don't feel any different but better then when i

was on HC.

I do feel people who metabolize HC to fast do do

better on a longer acting steroid.

I was up to 35 mgs with no optimizing. I cant seem to optimize at all.

I moon faced and gained about 20lbs. I lowered my dose and my weight

went back down 10 lbs.

Maybe its menopause. I see I didnt recieve my results from my blood

work in Oct. Im going to see if I can get them on Thursday.

Have you tried HC cream? Some folks that have troubelk with oral HC not

working properly for them are finding the cream works even better. But

it sounds liek you missed th eoptimal dose of HC and went too high.

The 1% HC cream is equla to 10MG HC per 1/4 tsp.
