Guest guest
Good Morning, Val, I've been trying a small amount of T3 - about 2 pinheads of T3 powder, and felt good the next morning after starting the day before. Unfortunately, it was short-lived. Had a low-grade depression all day yesterday, and today feel like my head is spinning and buzzy. I don't see how this could all be T3, but I'm going off as it's just too painful. How long do most stay on Isocort alone. I do notice improvement from it, but doesn't it contain the herb Echinacea? Of course, for those taking Echinacea to ward off colds, the advice has always been take it only for 3 weeks on and 1 week off. Should us Isocort patients be concerned about long-term use? Thank you so much, Val Pat Re: important question about a friend with mixed symptoms, Val. >>Val, I have a friend named Vicki I am trying to help. She has gained lots of weight the last year. She has high cholesterol. She is depressed. she has a lot of muscle spasms and is in pain. That sounds like hypothyroidism. But she is hot at even low temperatures AND she sweats a lot just from walking around her chilly house. I had her print out a temperature chart and she is going to start recording her temps. In the mean time, any ideas at this puzzling mix of symptoms?<< Sounds lust liek hypo with weak adrenals. I also was more heat intolerant than cold! I sweat at 70 degrees! -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
I kind of doubt it was the T3 either, but if i6t was it would indicate to me you probabyl need mroe than just Isocort. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Val, I tend to agree that I may need more than Isocort - mainly because I've continued to feel pretty bad. I have the l% cream, so would I use the same schedule as Isocort. Assumingl l/4 teas. = l0? Re: T3 or Yeast? Guest guest
Yes but it is 1/4 tsp that equals 10MG. Wasn't sure that was what you meant. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Also, I'm wondering how long can one safely take Isocort? Re: T3 or Yeast? Guest guest
Pat, I am using a combo of Isocort and HC cream and the cream is definitely stronger. I am slowly trying to get on all cream. Cheri -----Original Message----- Yes that's whatI meant. I would be so grateful if any of you could give me your opinions concerning the superiority of HcC cream, Cortif, ect. to Isocort. Was hoping to get by on Isocort, but have made several attempts aftertemps stabilized to start thyroid, but got knocked back and have to begin all over. Thank you if you can share what your experience has been. Pat .

Guest guest
Well, probiotics help with die-off because they eat up the dead bad bacteria toxins so if you are on a good probiotic, I would increase that and make sure you have at least two good bowel movements a day (magnesium can help that). Also, activated charcoal with lots of water can help absorb the die-off toxins. That is what has worked best for me. I never take anything that kills parasites without making sure I am heavily replenishing the gut at the same time with the good bacteria. Just so you know, it normally takes 7-10 days after you kill the offenders for the die-off to get completely out of your body so sometimes it is just trying to relieve symptoms while you body cleanses. Cheri -----Original Message----- Well, I think probably Echnicea is OK for me. I was grabbing at straws all day trying to figure why I felt so crummy all day - shakiness, anxiety, lost, lonely, slight nausea. Then, as I was out shoveling snow, it occured to me I had taken a probiotic at bedtime and Lomatium herb as I had been in a large crowd of people and wanted to kill off any viruses. I should realize by now that with my yeast problem the die-off nearly makes me crazy. Now, I'm thinking it may be a BIG factor in my inability to tolerate thyroid. Naturally, since I've had to be off thyroid the yeast has probably just proliferated What are your thoughts, Val and everybody for getting out of my mess? I would be happy to hear from anyone who has experienced yeast problems. My sibblings have these issues also, but do not have to treat thyroid and adrenals. Guest guest
Oh, great, Cheri. The cream will be less expensive than having to order Isocort. Pati guess I will just try substituting one dose more every few days by following the schedule in How to Treat Adrenals.
