Hi everyone. Have been on mino 5 years - great success. Found new AP

Doc in Feb and am working with her and naturopath - new abx regime

(she doubts my palindromic diagnosis) and diet to heal leaky gut. I

have had very little in the way of noticeable herxing on my new abx

regime which I started early April (low dose mino, roxithromycin and

amoxycillin trihydrate MWF). She believes I have a couple of other

pathogens that mino was not covering. So far, have experienced

nothing like the classic 6 week herx when I started mino 5 years

ago. Slight elevation in RF and very minor niggles in wrists, thumb

and shoulders (places which havent bothered me for

a few years). However, on Monday morning, both armpits were

tender when I showered and when I looked, both had small bright red

patches. Then I saw a very large lump on the underside of my right

arm sort of top of triceps and which seems deep in

tisue...........not in lymph area - and I'm talking goose egg

size!!!! I also remembered waking up Sunday

morning with lower part of one finger same bright red as my

underarms. Redness in both areas went pretty quickly. However, I

also felt very strange all morning....kind of spaced out as if on a

benzo type drug. My PCP examined and didnt think lump an immediate

worry - but puzzling because it's slightly tender and seems to have

come up awfully fast. My AP Doc said it is possibly herx related, my

body is in fight and de-tox mode but agrees a lump this size needs

to be monitored - I'll need an ultrasound in 2 weeks if still there.

Has anyone else had an enormous lump like this come up as part of

their herx? Thanks to all. Lynnie
