Guest guest
My primary goal in treating my hypothyroidism and adrenals is a good night's sleep. For months I have been waking every night for several hours. So I have been experimenting with PS -- with only limited progress. Last night I tried taking licorice at bedtime, in case it was LOW cortisol waking me up, but apparently not -- I woke at the usual time with my body practically humming and was up for longer than usual. (I don't have any recent labs, but my temperatures have just recently stabilized at 98.6, and I don't have any hypo symptoms.) So I would very much like to know, if you have tried PS, what your experience was and especially what finally got you sleeping through the night? Taking it earlier? Spreading throughout the day? Upping the dose (to what?)? Using melatonin? I am desperate and overwhelmed and don't know what to do next. -Jen
