Guest guest
111/07 Cortef 30 mg am 10 mg 11am 10 2pm 5,5 during the rest of the trip Both doctors say I am taking too much cortef because my cortisol is high. Why do they keep worrying about that. I am even thinner and cannot keep on weight despite what I eat. What is happening to me. Cortisol on 12/18/07 21.7 (3.1-16.7) Thryoid antibodies 12 (0 - 4) Antithyroglobulin AB less than 20 (0-40) Is this something to worry about. I am still taking 5mcg of T3 and cannot seem to get it up without really spasing out. The new doctor that lowerd my cortef want to send my to National Health INstitute in Baltimore because she feels something is wrong the doctors are missing. She talks about low cortisol derpession. Thank for your help, Elle > > Ellen you need to tell mw how you are dosing now to help you lower > the dose. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ >
Guest guest
21.7 (3.1-16.7) Actually form what I have reqd 20 for am AM cortiolsl is NORMAL for women, I am not sure where thye got this range from,. So I would not htink you are too high. If it were me and you have no symptoms of too high cortisl I would supplement what they give you ewiht enough ordered over seas to make up to where you actually feel good. Still losing weoight usually means still low cortiosl if it were high oyu would have high BP and be gaining fluid weight if nothing else. 30 mg am 10 mg 11am 10 2pm 5,5 during the rest of the trip To lower form here I owuld go to 20 - 10 - 10 - 5 - 5 Thenin a week go to 15 - 10 - 10 - 5 - 5 then in a week go to 12.5 - 10 - 7.5 - 5 - 5 Have you been tested for adrenal antibodies? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
No, I have not been tested for adrenal antibodies. The new endo thinks I might have low cortisol depression. She wants to send me to the Natioanal Health Institute in Baltiomore because of depression adn maybe post traumatic stress. With all this extra added stuff on me, sleep apena, rubtured disk and feeling like I am on my death bead and can hardly work. I just don't know what else to do. Do you know how they would treat low cortisol drpession. I trid to do some research on the NHI website. Just confusing for me. -- In NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS , T wrote: > > 21.7 (3.1-16.7) > > Actually form what I have reqd 20 for am AM cortiolsl is NORMAL for women, I am not sure where thye got this range from,.
