Guest guest
Aldosterone 168 supine <440 pmol/L Ambulatory 110 - 880 pmol/L Unless oyu were laying down for 20 minutes prior to blood draw you would use ambulatory range which puts you pretty low. I would definitely try Florinef wiht thiis lab. I do nto know alot obout Renin but will try to look it up this after onoon once hiome from work. <<There's also Adrenocorticotrophil hormone 7.5 with this underneath At 08h00 1.6-13.9 pmol/L At 16h00 50% of 08h00 value << This is ACTh what time was the blood draw? If 9am or earlier it is pretty low indicating a pit problem, if it was around noon it is probabyl close to right. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Hi Val, I'm pretty sure all of these tests were done at the same time about 9am fasting, I was in bed since midnight and as requested lying flat on my back for several hours..I was in hospital..so does that mean the Aldosterone is probably okay do you think? Re AcTH, I hadn't taken any meds that morning but the day before I had a small amount of HC as I had gone into tremors coz he'd taken me off steroid the day before that..and before that I was on 5mg deltacortril for at least 6 weeks..so maybe does all this mean that these tests are meaningless?? You are so kind to look up the Renin meaning..any understanding of Parathyroid test? Many thanks Val and blessings on you, Sara > > Aldosterone 168 > supine <440 pmol/L > Ambulatory 110 - 880 pmol/L > > Unless oyu were laying down for 20 minutes prior to blood draw you would use ambulatory range which puts you pretty low.
