New Labs please evaluate and comment!!

Here are my new labs. I have been on Armour for 6 months and HC for 5 months.

AST 35 (range 6 - 42)

ALT 68 abnormal (range 4 - 43)

TSH 0.46 (range 0.30-4.70)

T4 Free 9.5 (range 9.1 - 23.8)

T3 Free 4.0 (range 2.5 - 5.7)

Cortisol Random serum 330 (range 30 - 958)

Testosterone 1.1

Free Testosterone 0.9 (range 0.3 - 4.0)

Estradiol 491 (range 0 - 921)

Ferritin 9 (range 13 - 145)

Note: It was 24, three months ago while on contraceptive pill)

My ferritin is 9. But I have never had it above 24 my

whole life. I have always had very heavy periods that

a week and a half. I just went off the pill and it is

even worse.

How do I get my T3 higher? Just by raising my armour?

I can't raise armour much higher without feeling sick

as you may guess.

You need to take MORE iron than you are taking. Usually it owuld be

10-200mg daily of elemental iron. I doubt oyu will be able to raise T3

at all wiht Ferritin this low.

Sorry should have been 150-200MG elemental iron daily.

is it a must to take iron routinely every day? would it be okay if it is taken

every other day or once in three days. i am taking injections and can not get it

daily due to exhaustion reasons.

With injections you shoud not need it as often so that should be fine.

With injections you shoud not need it as often so that should be fine.
