As your adrenal;s have actually gotten worse, I think you need more

adrenal support than you were taking. but before you go back on it, you

really shoudl have an ACTH Stim test done. Your FSH and LH look to me

like hypogonadism or erly menopause, btu then maybe the progesterone did

not help that as it was not balanced by estrogen. Your high estrogen is

simply the low cortisol and may self correct of you get enough cortisol

in your body for it to function. A stim test will tell what your

adrenals are ABLE to produce under high stimulation and if your problem

is adrenal or pituitary. I would say it is important to knwo which.

I wil schedule the ACTH Stim test. I see my doc in three weeks. Do I have to

be off h/c to test ACTH? I can barely pick my head up, I need to get on

somethin, soon. lol. What should I do about thyroid? They look awful to me.

Why is my TSH so high? Do you think I should keep that at 4 grains or

increase?

I would try to hold where you are until you can test. You might also ask

for RT3 testing as with needing that much thyroid there has to be a

utilization problem too.

thanks Val. One more question. Have you ever seen a TSH as high as mine? It

floored me to see it so high. I googled a TSH over 400 and came up dry, now

that is scary!

Oh, for me this would not be early menopause. My mom went into menopause at

46 and grandmother at 45, so it is geneics for me.

once. But that was before I went on T3 and I had alot of RT3.

Just to make you feel a little better, the first time I did the saliva

test my TSH was like Val's -- >600. And I had been on a large dose of

T4 (200mcg or more) for many, many years when I got this result! The

second time I did the saliva test, after being on Armour for over a

year, my TSH was in the 200's. Blood tests show a very suppressed TSH

(.01).

Val, didn't you say you have to be off HC for two weeks before an ACTH

Stim test?
